Kanye West?

At first, I told everyone I idolized Kanye West as a joke. I thought it was funny because 80% of my school dresses in everything Kanye West does. However, as time went on, with stuff I learned from friends and books, I started to understand this guy more.

I suggest that 50% of you guys should stop reading this right now because I'm going to get REALLY technical and start preaching. So flip a coin, if it's heads, continue reading.

Okay, let's talk about some stuff.

This song is a celebration of life. It's also the reason why so many people think he's cool.

He’s confident.
He’s got attitude.
He gets shit done.
He reaps the rewards.

These are all traits that appeals to others.
Everyone should incorporate this to their everyday lives.

But you can't just say "I'm confident, I have attitude.” You have to OWN it.

It's all about owning whatever it is that you are.
Own your wants, desires, style, and life!

There are so many people who genuinely have cool shit to share. These are the real cool people. But they don't realize it, or maybe they realize it and are afraid to show it. So they walk around with their shoulders down and head slumped forward.

So who determines if you're cool?

YOU DO

Kanye West decided a long time ago that he was the shit. He owned it.
He doesn't ASK anyone if he's cool, he just KNOWS he's cool and he tells the whole world.

But notice he isn't an asshole about it. He celebrates it. He gives everyone love. He invites you into his life. "Welcome to the good life..." Everyone wants a piece.

So if you want to succeed in life, don't PRETEND like you're a successful person, OWN it. Represent who you really are. These people are definitely cool, but because they decide to hide and pretend to be someone else, no one notices them.

Everyday, pursue what you want. Don't let someone else tell you want to do with your life. Walk with an extra bounce in your step, and talk with an over-confident tone. When you own this, people will start noticing, and good shit will happen.

Unfortunately, there are always going to be people against you. They just won't like the way you are.

Well as Kanye says "if they hate then let 'em hate and watch the money pile up"

So listen.

For everyone that's reading this. Add to your New Years Resolution: Go out there and get things done.

Turn ordinary nights where “nothing is going on” into nights to remember.

Decide what you want and get it.

Decide that you are the baddest motherfucker - believe it 100% and go from there.

Celebrate your life.

Because if you don’t - no one else will.

But when you do everyone else joins in.

And I promise you…

You’ll live the good life.
